When you find your way back down

Well that only took the entire week -_-. Turns out we needed to get in some internet access and I haven't had a chance to use the computer labs in the library all week >->. Getting the internet in wasn't a huge problem, it was the wireless router that took forever to set up. I think I went through about 5 of them before I got one that worked. Oh well, it's finally sorted out now so I don't have to worry about it other than the signal randomly dropping.

On the plus side it is great to finally have my own space and not worry about hogging a whole bunch of space when I'm studying since the table in the dining room is so big.

Anyways got to go do my washing for tomorrow now {the only downside to all this is having to do all my own cleaning... oh and the bills}. Hikari and I are having a housewarming pary at some point in the next week or so, we just need to get that last few bits and pieces put away first. Take care all, loads of love Miya xx

Looks like Hikari-chn and I have finally found ourselves an apartment that's only 20 minutes from the main Tokyo U campus and only half an hour away from where most of my classes are held. I would show you guys pictures but unfortunately Hikari was the one who linked me to the website and was the one with the camera during the viewing this afternoon ^^;. Apparently they're quite happy to let us have a pet so Hikari's going to be bringig Alice with her *squeals in happiness*. I can't tell you how relieved I am at finding this place, it's not huge but it should be just fine for just me and Hikari. The only apartments left were two bedrooms so it looks like we have a spare if anyone wants to crash over.

I am pretty excited at the prospect of finally moving out though, I've managed to cajole my parents into helping with the deposit and with getting most of my stuff over there at the weekend. Not like I have all that much to begin with anyway, my laptop, a couple of shelves and a stack of DVDs and games along with my DSi and a couple of consoles *shrugs*.

I'm not too sure when we'll have finished unpacking so any parties will have to wait until at least the following weekend, but we are going to have one ^_~. I'm off to go get myself something snacky before dinner and squee some more. Take care all, loads of love miya xxx

I am in a pretty perky mood right now and I have no idea why~. Last week wasn't all that eventuful, got all my work done and handed in and got to hang out with Momoe neesan at the weekend. Mantarou's back for a week, said he missed our company {more like he missed Kasaaan's cooking since he can't even seem to manage toast by himself}.

I don't have that much work to do this week, though I'm sure I'll get a reading assignment of some sort in the middle of the week, but for now if anyone wants an excuse to chill out (and procrastinate) I'm available all week ^^.

Sorry this is so short, but I'm gonna go see if I can grab Hikari to drag to the Karaoke night in one of the student bars later ^^ {and no you're not getting out of singing this time XP}.

Remind me to never ignore my alarm clock again. I ended up not getting breakfast and I forgot my lunch, luckily I was able to get something for lunch from the student union building otherwise I wouldn't have eaten for almost 24 hours ;-;.

In other news I have papers due next week that I'm trying to fit in between revising for tests and labs and all that other coursework-related stuff. It's not going too badly but I think I might need an extension on the 9 page lab report that's due in next Friday because I have so much other stuff on and it needs reviewed by my tutor -_-. The apartment hunt isn't going well but I'm keeping optimistic about it ^^.

I haven't been about too much, took a migraine last week, that was fun to deal with; tried dragging myself to at least one of my classes and left halfway through and spent the rest of that day and the next day hiding under my bedcovers hoping it would go away. Thankfully it did and I got some of the work I missed over the weekend.

Anyways I think that's about it for now, anyone still up for arranging that day out to the digital world?

Don't get me wrong, classes are keeping me busy enough during the day and the apartment hunt goes ever onward, but the times in between are so boring since I'm not doing anything all that productive. I was thinking though, that I really ought to go and see Hawkmon because I haven't seen him inages and I think a trip to the digital world will do me some good ^^.

Anyone want to tag along? We can make a full day out of it, going swimming, sunbathing, playing some games and stuff and catching up with the digimon again. To be honest I feel bad about not being in touch with Hawkmon for so long and I kinda want to make it up to him.

Another week come and gone and things are going pretty well so far. No luck on the apartment front yet, but I'm sure we'll get there eventually ^^.

Labs start this week again, which I am looking forward to immensley since nothing but theory can get pretty boring after a while. Spent most of my week in the library with Kaxumi and Mantarou {Miyami wasn't taking the class since she's concentrating on biochemistry this year}, something which is always good for a laugh. Mostly because Mantarou keeps on cracking jokes about something or other and is almost as much of a klutz as I am. Luckily the library has study rooms which are seperate from the main part of the library so we could make as much noise as we wanted {and take in coffee and snacks to boot <3}. We did get some studying done though, so it wasn't all fun and games {though they certainly helped to keep the monotony at bay}.

Hoping to catch up with Hikari-chan after classes tomorrow, not for anything major, just having something for dinner and catching up on some quality time again. What do you want to do afterwards Hikari? I'm not sure what I want to do yet so I'll leave that choice up to you ^^; {still my treat though ^~}.

Well I finally convinced my parents that I needed my own place and managed to wheedle Hikari-chan into coming with me {let's face it Hikari, you need the space as well and to get away from your Kasaan's cooking} so we're going apartment hunting from tomorrow afternoon ^^. Of course it's not going to be easy to find anywhere since term has already started but I'm sure we'll find somewhere eventually~. Takeru-kun, you don't mind giving us a hand do you? It's just that we kinda need another pair of eyes that knows what to look for ^^;.

In other news, it's been a slow start to the term for me, not many labs and far too much theory stuff to slog through. At least it's stuff I understand and can easily pick up, even though we're being told {yet again} to forget everything we've already been told about the subject ^^; {said subject being molecular bonding and stuff about electron fields... why can't people just make up their minds already?}. I guess it's a good thing that I'm doing something that doesn't require too much of my concentration right now since I have a couple of essays and assignments that need finishing for other classes in between what I've already got. Ah well, such is the busy life of a university student I guess.

Well, classes start up again tomorrow, which is going to be great since I've been getting bored. Last week was pretty good since I got to hang out with the guys from my classes. Miyami had a fantastic time in Greece {lucky sod} while everyone ele got to sample to joys of Tokyo in the summer.

Fresher's week wasn't too bad, checked out a couple of the clubs and decided not to join any of them right now since I'll probably get swamped under a ton of work within the first two or three weeks ^^;. I'm going to make sure I try to keep on top of it all this time and try to find someplace of my own at some point. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, but I think it's about time I moved out and gained a bit of independence ^^. I'm going to start looking this weekend since I haven't had a chance to look properly over the summer {no thanks to having to work in the shop half the days and trying to catch up with everyone else the rest of the time} but I do know there are a couple of places I like the look of that still haven't gone yet that are only 10 minutes walk away from the main campus.

I think I'm going to go visit Hawkmon at some point during the week, I haven't seen him for a bit and I want to catch up with him, if anyone wants to come along, feel free ^^.

I suppose I better go and make sure I have everything I need for tomorrow and have a nice shower and relax for the rest of the night. Take care all, loads of love miya xxx

Well my weekend went pretty well despite the evil sister syndrome stuff that's had Chizuru all out of shape the last week. I totally forgot my birthday was even coming up, but Iori helpfully reminded me when I saw him on Saturday by presenting me with a card and a hat... that was shaped like a birthday cake, complete with candles. I adored the sentiment Iori-kun, but I am never letting you bully me into wearing something like that again ever ><.

Saturday was spent trying to avoid people I knew by ducking into crowded shops and then going for coffee and catching up with things {luckily by this point Iori conceded that I should take the hat off}. It was fun, hearing about what you got up to Iori, we should hang out like that more often ^^. The evening was spent back at my place watching bad horror movies and sappy romances with all the snacks and drinks we liked. iori ended up staying over and having Mantarou's room since he's not home right now.

I ended up getting woken up by a rather... overenthusiastic Hikari jumping on my bed at 10am the next morning ^^;. I love you Hikari-chan, but please, no more jumping on me when I'm sleeping, I swear I just about had a heart attack. At leas that woke me up enough to get my presents ^^. I ended up with a whole bunch of winter clothes and vouchers for various things and a whole load of cash {which will promptly be spent on video games ^^}. I loved your present though Hikari-chan, I'm sure it'll come in useful at some point ^^.

Anyways the rest of that day was spent hanging out with my family and having a fantastic lunch made for me and dinner out with everyone. I don't think I've ever had such a great day ^^. Thanks for all the cards and other stuff though guys, it's all appreciated ^^.

Nothing unusual to report for this last week. Things have been pretty quiet all things considered and I'm spending the last week of my vacation re-reading Harry Potter to make sure I don't get all confused when Half Blood Prince finally gets shown over here. From what I've heard so far it looks pretty promising, lots of people have placed it second only to Prisoner of Azkaban in the film series in terms of how good it is and plenty of the others said it tops it. I'm reserving judgement until I see the film myself {though I am sorely tempted to ask Tatum or Mimi-neesan to let me jump on over to go see it in English anyway}.

I've also started playing Soul Silver a lot this last week, I forgot how addicting the Pokemon games were ^^;. I'm only up to the fourth gym right now but I'm trying my hand at breeding a lot in this game, just because I think it's tons of fun. I love having my pokemon follow me around everywhere {though when I'm levelling the team up it means I get to have several Pokemon I don't like the sprites for doing it as well as the ones I actually like}. I'm hoping to addict Momoe neesan to the games as well, just so I can have someone to complete necessary trades with and battle against just so I don't have to do it over Wifi. Anyone interested in picking up the game again, being the only person you know to play it can get a bit boring after a while...

Anyways I'm nearly finished reading Order of the Phoenix {at long last, I forgot just how long that tome was X-x} and I want to get started on Half Blood Prince sometime before dinner. Take care all, loads of love Miya xxx

Just a very quick update since I need to be back in the shop for the next couple of days.

Things are pretty great right about now. I've been hanging out with Iori and Hikari-chan a lot lately and had a great time, but to be honest, I'll be glad when the vacation's over. Holidays and I don't get along all that well since I get bored so easily ^^;. It was nice to see those of you that bothered to show up on Saturday though, I suppose that we're all so busy right now that other things got in the way.

Geez, I almost forgot I had internet access, this week has been so hectic. It started off unassuming enough, I got to lie in for two to three days, then.... they came -_-. My aunt and uncle decided that last week would be a wonderful time to visit and bring their demon children with them. To stay. For five whole days. Never mind the fact that we don't have any room for them all and the little hellions think it's a great idea to start messing around with breakable objects {hell, they *almost* got a hold of my D3, managed to get that locked away before they actually did}.

Examples of the things they got up to: screaming at each other at 5 am while playing. These kids are 8 and 10. Throwing screaming temper tantrums when they don't get their own way. running around the shop, knocking over stock and pissing off our customers. Using my laptop as a drum {thank the gods it didn't get broken or those kids would've been totally dead} and my good fountain pens as drumsticks {those things are expensive and I need them for the rare occassion I need to take handwritten notes ><}. Ripping the modem out of the wall and almost getting themselves killed by trying to climb the barrier at the balcony >< {I almost had a heart attack, I was the only one watching them that day X-x}.

They're gone now though, so hopefully I can enjoy the rest of my holiday in peace. Sorry for not being in touch with anyone, but I was often left to look after those.... things for most of the week because I apparently had 'nothing better to do' ><.

Well I finally caught up with Iori last weekend. Things have changed a lot since I last saw him, he seems even more reserved and quiet, not to mention cynical. I don't know what happened while he was missing, he didn't want to talk about it so I didn't push the matter. He did talk about his family though, and how fast his baby sister is growing up. I felt kinda guilty about not going round to see them but I didn't want to invade their space while Iori was gone.

I updated him about what happened here while he was gone and when I told him I was dating Hikari he looked a little surprised. He hid it very well, but I know him a bit too well to not notice. I'm surprised he's surprises actually, I mean, it seems everyone missed my huge crush on Mimi neesan when we were younger >> {and here I was thinking it was all too obvious}. Sure I always went with the boys and I probably still would if I wasn't already taken ^^;. Anyways I only mentioned it then moved on to the next topic of conversation when I noticed it was making him a little uncomfortable.

Iori has changed a lot, but he's still one of my best friends and I want to help in whatever way I can. For the moment, however it looks like the only way I can do that is by backing off until things settle down again. He does seem very bemused by that fact that we're all so willing to forgive and forget... but isn't that what frienship is all about? *sighs* I guess I can only wait and see what happens now and react accordingly.

Well, that's the first week of exams over. I don't think I did too badly either, which is a nice bonus. Kazumi-chan just about had a meltdown on the biochemistry one, she never did like the subject all tht much. I finally found her hyperventilating just outside the student union building after the exam, calmed her down and got her some water. Mantarou and Miyami caught up with us a bit later since they both had other exams not long after the biochemistry one.

I caught up with Hikari during the exam week too, which was nice. Had time for a coffee in between my exams on Thursday and we went out for dinner that evening. We went to that new suhi place that just opened up two blocks away from the Sciences campus, let me tell you the food was amazing and the service was even better ^^. It did rain for a bit while we were there though, it hammered it down.... onto a canvas roof ^^;. I thought the place was going to get flooded, but luckily the rain stopped before that happened and one of the waiters had to go get a broom to push the water that had pooled in the canvas off ^^;. Gave us both a bit of a fright since it Hikari and I weren't expecting it.

In other news I caught up with Iori last week, it was nice to finally see you face to face again and I'm sorry if I was a bit snippy to start with. My last exam next week is on Wednesday so if you wanna come over or anything, feel free ^^.

I finally found out Iori's been back in Odaiba since April. I must say I'm very relieved to know he's back and is safe, but I'm hurt that he didn't say anything about being back sooner. Something must have happened for him to not say anything to anyone, and while I won't force the issue if he doesn't want to talk, I would like to talk to him about it if he wants to.

In other news Hikari called me last night and said she was worried about Takeru. I heard something about him and Michael, but I wasn't sure what it was. She never actually said what had happened, but something tells me the two of them aren't together any more. I'm not too sure what I think about that, I mean Takeru has always been a very... private{?} kind of person and Micahel was very outgoing and spotaneous. I guess I'm kind of hurt that anyone would want to hurt Takeru, but Hikari said that he would probably be ok as far as that went, but I get the feeling there's more to it than that. I'll probably go round at some point in the next couple of weeks just to catch up and see how he's doing {the fact that Hikari said Patamon was living with him at the moment is a touch unsettling, but I'm not going to worry too much about it}.

I guess I'd better get started on this studying now though, it's certainly not just going to jump into my brain by itself.

I'm in a pretty good mood right now, as you all probably gathered by the entry title. The weather's been great and even though my exams start next week I'm not overly worried about them.

I'm trying to get our little group in my classes to arrange something for the week after they finish {I aleady said I would likely be booked for 1st August}, just something small but fun to do, like a picnic or something.

I'm really hoping to catch up with Mimi nee-san at some point, and hopefully I can drag Hikari-chan out someplace next weekend {my treat Hikari, and no aruguing <3}.

Things are starting to look up at little bit with the shop now, I think people are coming in to get things like ice cream because it's been so hot, but I think things will be ok now. It was very touch and go for a while there I must admit, but the Summer has decided to be nice to us for once.

I haven't been up to much this week, mostly just getting lab reports done and studying. I've been playing a couple of computer games as well and had to keep my windows closed during the last heatwave becaue guess what? The bees are back -_-. Plus they seem to have ganged up with the hornets that somehow moved into the park... I swear all insect kind hates my guts for no reason whatsoever right now.

Not much has been going on in my life either, unless you count an uneventful coming out to my family, who were not only not surprised by this 'revelation' but actively encouraging it ^^;. I suppose it's better that it's someone like Hikari-chan than anyone else, which probably helped a great deal. The only person to say anything about it was Chizuru, but that didn't exactly come as a surprise. I don't know if it's because she's jealous or what, whatever's up she needs a personality transplant -_-.

Anyways, I need to thank you Jyou-san for helping me with the read over of my last lab report, it helped me out a lot and now I'm finished off the final draft before I hand it in on Tuesday. Here's hoping it's a good one.

I'm only here for another fifteen minutes so I'll need to make this relatively short and sweet.

This week was pretty good. University classes are starting to wind down a little to give us some time to study, but the labs are now demanding full-out reports every week that have to be at least three pages long X-x. I'm managing at the moment but I think I'll need to get someone to proof read the latest one since I was kind of half asleep when I did it >_> {yeah, remind me never to stay up and watch a QI marathon on a week night ever again, even if Mr Fry has the sexiest brain on the planet}.

Also? I am never touching Sake again ><. Geez that whole 'spin the bottle' game last Friday did not do me any good, I kind of neglected to mention the hangover the next morning in my last entry, but that really, really sucked and I am never touching alcohol again ><. {I bet Jyou-san will be really glad to see that written down}.

Well this last week has been really, really good. I haven't actually done much but I did go over to Hikari's last night and... well I'll spare the details but I'm pretty glad her parents were out ^^;. I've got to admit waking up and realising it wasn't all just some dream was pretty damned amazing. I couldn't quite smiling all morning {neither could Hikari XP;, it was actually kinda cute}.

I'm home at the moment since I had to drop one or two things off, then we're heading back out again. I think Momoe nee-san and Kasaan know something's up though because they were giving me 'that look' when I came in in such a good mood earlier >_>. looks like I'll have to spill the beans sooner rather than later...
